When you get in touch, we will return your call/email within 1 hour to discuss your needs. Once we agree on a suitable time and day, you will be given information on how to join the lesson via Zoom.

You can book as many lessons as you like, however we recommend a minimum of one hour per week for good progress to be made.

Once we have arranged a suitable time, you will be sent a monthly invoice which is payable on the 1st of every month. Lessons must be paid 1 month in advance.

We require 24 hour notice for a cancelled lesson, this will allow us enough time to offer this to another student.

You can re arrange a cancelled lesson for a time that is more convenient. Please communicate with your teacher to organise this.

This is entirely dependent on your specific needs. Some students require lessons which teach a topic they may have missed in lessons, others require exam practice to assess understanding. Lessons will include breakout rooms, quizzes, short and extended writing tasks to name a few.

We use a mixture of PowerPoints and booklets in lessons.

Absolutely, we will sign post students to online resources which include tasks to further develop student understanding and application skills.

Parents are informed regularly of the progress your child is making, the teacher will discuss attitude, knowledge, habits and skills. Any concerns will be flagged promptly.

A popular request is booster lessons during the half term holidays. Students request this to consolidate their revision and boost confidence. Similarly, we can teach a topic that the student may have missed during term time.

The earlier you start private tutoring, the better the outcome.

No, not at all. We take students at any point of the year and assess your individual needs from there.

No, we do offer a small group option with 2 other students. This is great for discussion based activities, students find it useful to have other students to bounce ideas off.
